In order to keep the planning up-to-date and to follow up production, we have a dynamic application for production registration. Based on many years of experience, we have developed the necessary insight in how this can be done in the most efficient way. In addition to the ergonomic and efficient user interface for production registration, we can also communicate directly with the machinery. This can be realized in various ways: towards PLC by means of an OPC interface or with our Orbitus Machine Interface (OMI). The OMI can exchange both input and output signals with our software. Thanks to this cost-effective piece of hardware we are able to automatically capture for example standstills, speeds and production quantities. This way, we receive independent and neutral data, providing the crucial feedback to planning and production.
Features
- Registration of production for all kinds of production processes. This is realized directly on the shop-floor at the necessary points. There may be various registration/capture points for a particular process/machine. Standard points that we provide are input, output and status.
- The entry and consumption of raw materials is recorded. Consumption can be recorded in various ways – directly upon entry, proportionally, …
- The recording of stock is realized on the basis of production / process orders. This way, the planner gets an idea of the progress and also the quantity that has already been produced, so that the planning is adapted on-line.
- OMI (Orbitus Machine Interface) ensures signal capturing
- Capturing of produced quantities is realized in various ways: by entering them manually, fixed bar code scanners, length measurements, quantity measurements via DMI, PLC reading via OPC… In this respect, we adapt ourselves to what is necessary, so as to obtain a correct and user-independent registration.
- For certain types of processes, we provide an on-line return reporting, so that the operator can immediately consult its return and take any measures that may be necessary.
- Stock identification may be realized in various ways : labels, ink jet, spraying, … .
